Water Meth vs. Nitrous
#4
nitrous..... you can get more umph out of the nitrous. with nitrous you have to have too much fuel for it to work properly. i currently spray 175hp on my truck and it clears the smoke real well.
the Meth is more of a fuel and adds a cooling effect to the charge air. meth adds ignition timing, not injection timing, as it ignites before the diesel will, it works well if the truck is tuned for minimal smoke and burns somewhat clean at WOT but still has excessive EGT's. meth works well on non intercooled trucks and towing trucks that need that little bit of Umph going up that hill and needs the cooling of EGT's that this will help achieve. if you have too much fuel meth will not work for you, well it might but it won't work very well. when i installed mine on my truck i was over fueled, as always, and on a DynoJet i made 0.4hp, yess less than 1/2 a HP spraying 2 x 650cc nozzles at 140 PSI....
take that for what it is worth....
knock on wood i am still on my stock head gasket, i will spray till it lets go, then replace it and spray more nitrous than the time before.....

I guess as overfueled as I am I almost need the nitrous.
