It looks like I will be in the market for a diesel. I currently have a 1985 F-250 with a 460(that died) but I did a body swap on it with a 92-97 body style. I am looking for another ford with the same body style so I can swap all my parts over. I'm unsure as to whether I would be happy with a pre-powerstroke or if I should try to get a powerstroke. I have heard the IDI's tend to last a little longer, but have no knowledge/experience of my own. I have a budget of $7k to find another truck, preferrably a CC 4x4, but a SC would suffice and it has to be a 5spd. I've been playing with gassers for years, but really want a diesel now.
