I'll be the first to admit - I DON'T no anything about cummins . I hear they are good engines though . However this is a forum you will get the good with the bad , and the right with the wrong . You just got to do your research , sort through all of the advise and make your best guess decision .

there is a programmer for the 12 valves its called a screwdriver stacked with a heavy right foot.
