I don't see where there is even a comparison between the 1500 and the 2500. Hands down with the heavier frame rails the 2500 is gonna save yer back side far better then anything version of a 1500. The 1500 is nothin but a full size car with a bed.

personaly i wish they never made a 1500, its a poor excuse for a truck, i owned a 95 1500 it was crap all the way around

a 1500 is like a really big el camino. after being in a real truck, you just repetitively ask yourself, "why?" I don't even like the 1500 suburbans. truck or 'burb, there's just no good reason to go with the underbuilt brakes, lighter suspension, flimsier frame...for the same amount of space that a 2500/3500 takes up...you don't even HAVE to get a diesel (though I'm not sure why people go for gasser 2500's).
