I never owned a 6.0 but I have had two 7.3s 94 and an 02 both of them tougher than hell, pulled good, but just would not beat the cummins on fuel mileage, and when fuel was almost $5 a gallon that is what I was interested in.

 

I haven't ever owned one but have turned enough wrenches on them to not want to own one.

 

I agree with a couple posts, you get a good one or a bad one. I have a 06 6.0 as a "company truck" thanks to my uncle, and I haven't had one problem and I'm running a Edge Juice and a couple other things and it gets it. But on the other hand my parents both own 6.0s and they've had nothing but trouble and my my mom's is completely stock and my dad just has a Edge Juice. I would either get a nice cummins or if you really want a ford get a 7.3.
