whatcha mean a problem in the waste gate....how do ya figure, whered you decide that....

If it's opening up and de-fueling at 18psi I think that is way to low even for factory setting.

well it was somewhere around 18-20.....what should factory setting be....

clarify something for me as now I am all confused.....are we talkin boost fooler or boost elbo????

Two totally different things here

ummmm....its a solid brass 90* fitting that goes on the bottom of the turbo that hooks to a hose going to my wastegate maybe? The hole in the end of the brass fitting much smaller than the stock one

Well there ya go....what you have is a boost elbo not a boost fooler

A boost fooler is an electronic device and a boost elbo is a mechanical device

Ahh we both knew what we were talkin about was the Boost Fooler Elbow, just to long to keep typin it out.

ok so hold up.....i have a boost elbow and not a fooler, what does a boost elbow do instead then...

A boost elbo is basically a restriction.....the inlet feed to the boost elbo comes from the charger discharge and the boost elbo you have simple is restricting or basically delaying the pressure signal...........if you dont have a chip to go with it you will definatly be setting an overboost code

i already have....p0234 i believe....but why is it making my truck smoke....is it doing something with my fueling
