Whos Gelling? Not Dr.Sholls neither

****.... Gelled up AGAIN... -5F, just filled up from 1/4 to a full tank last night, drove 127mi and it's gelled already. Surging pretty bad.
I just added about 900mL or so of Howes to the tank, hopefully it will work its way in over the next couple hours so I will be able to drive normally again. This is driving me nuts... I can't run straight #2, it just gells every time... This is so frustrating.
I hope it works properly by tomorrow morning. It ran really well last time with howes, just sounded 'clattery'. It sounded much quieter now on straight 2, but it sure gels up fast. Oi...Summer please come fast.

Update:
So I kept adding about 200mL increments of Howes to try and clear that crap up, and as it got colder during the day I didn't notice a difference over 5hrs, so I added just a little more....then she started throwing trouble codes because there was too much additive....s.o.a.b. So I BARELY got it home, plugged it in, left it over night, then added 10gallons of fresh fuel warmed to room temperature to try and get the fuel to warm up a bit and mix up nicely... I let it idle for about 60 minutes, then drove it around and the truck is now at 90%. Full throttle runs were still a little choked, but it's really close to being free again of blockages. I could get it to 86mph no problem so that's a good sign. If it stays warm I should be alright, might add like 30mL of Howes at a time each day to see if that helps. The lesson here I guess is to make sure I add that stuff RIGHT AWAY when filling up...my truck seems to experience intense gelling issues ceaselessly...I think it might be the titan tank- the extra capacity means the fuel pump can't recirculate fuel fast enough to keep the whole tank warm and so it just gells up anyways, even when running. That's my theory anyways...
If anyone else has some insight, post away.

If you know it is already gelled, try dumping in the PS 911 in the red bottle and let that run through.
I changed out my fuel filter and it was nasty. I also drained all the fuel out of the canister. Truck ran better, but not great, so I took it out on the interstate once it got up to operating temp and romped it to the floor. It spit and sputtered a time or 2 and you should have seen the black cloud that came out of the stacks. Ran it hard for about 6 miles and she's back to normal. My guess is there was some crap in the injectors.

In that case, is it possible that the fuel filter can get un-gelled just by running the engine and warming up the fuel? I just had my filter changed like 1500 miles ago... I really don't feel like changing it again at 10% of its life.
Maybe I should just take the fuel filter off and dump it out, mix 50% diesel and 50% 911 like PS911 says to do on the bottle. Would that work?

I did for alil bit this year ran like crap for a couple days and I got about 8 mpg on that tank. But otherwise mines been good, just putting in additive after every fill up since all of these horror stories keep coming up. On a side not when I filled up yesterday, I finished off the rest of my additive and I go to throw it away and all thats in the can is plastic additive bottles and its FULL! Looks like everyone is feeling the pain this winter...
