I gelled - twice.. Once in Colorado in 32 degree weather, and once REAL bad in Wyoming in -10 weather.
Howes has fixed that, however the engine doesn't sound as smooth...I'm going to try mixing in some lubricity additive and see if it sounds better. Hopefully it doesn't fight with the Howes that's already in there though

I was. Completely looked past it thinking that there was NO WAY that I could possibly be gelled up. Ran a bottle of 911 through and am double dosing the white jug of Power Service. Has been fine the last 2 days.

I've been fortunate not to gel up. I run PS and that's it. Last time I was home which was right after new years it hit -20 at the house and -30 at the farm......although she cranked slow she fired right up. I didn't have it plugged in either (fell asleep when it was above 0) I ran some stuff that was called Polar Express too and a lot of farmers in my area run it regularly and swear by it.

Now that the temp has warmed up here to 32-50, my truck has been sounding rough...probably need to dilute the additive that's in there, it doesn't need the extra cold protection/cetane...it doesn't sound as nice and smooth as it did before.

If it stays warm I'm going to stop using Howes and I plan on switching to Stanadyne's Lubricity formula. Found a local dealer here that sells the stuff. Once summer rolls around, then I'm going to try the 2-stroke when I know for sure I won't gel up.
