I would like to see a duramax last 250,000 miles with-out no engine repairs, or rebuilts, BUT I don't think I'll see one in my lifetime !!!

Yeah I always hear (I THINK) a duramax reached 250,000 miles, BUT WILL IT REACH IT WITHOUT ANY ENGINE REPAIRS OR REBUILTS !!!!!!!!!!!!

 

There are plenty out there over 250,000 miles. Its not a bad motor as far as V8 diesels go.

Its gonna be hard to find a member on a performance forum though because we modify the trucks so much that the life expentancy hits the fan.

Yes your right, DODGE is a rust magnet, BUT CHEVY'S IFS can't take much off-roading or abuse !!
