I can't see the IFS carrying the weight of the Cummins. I just shipped a complete 3rd gen common rail and it was #1200. I think it would eat torsion bars left and right.
They will probably sell the light weight 2500 Hemi's with the IFS. I don't know.

chevys carry the weight of duramax engines all the time but i dont know precisely how much those engines weigh we will have to see when the 09 cummins roll out on the show floor to see what they posses for the front suspension

Here's a couple that the dealership had. Since purchase I've changed out all the fluids, installed line-x bedliner and cover, side rails and flaps, oil bypass and just today added the winter package(grill cover and battery wraps.

I have a 95 supra(sp63mm) and I fell in love with the way it sounds. I currently have a 96 F250 7.3 but, I am wanting a CTD instead. Some time, money, and the sale of my rig. Is all that is in my way. =(

We dont know how long the duramax will last not many have put a whole lot of miles on them, they just came out 8 years ago.

Id bet the cummins would outlast it, but how many people will drive their truck for a million miles??
