Really depends what you want I think. The DAMX will give you a car like ride but the Cummins is very dependable and is designed to work hard. The harder you push it the better it gets. Personally, cummins 2004.5 would be my limit to steer away from the enviro junk on board.

 

Just missed, I got an 05 with 58,000miles. I'll have to do something...can't hear the engine with the windows up

 

well I guess its too late for me to say get a CC/SB Dmax.

Suprisingly a stronger motor in some ways over the cummins. But Im talkinghigh performance applications.

For a good strong running daily driver you would have come out ahead no matter which one you bought.

 

cummins because it sounds like a real diesel were a chevy sounds like a gasser

 

Chevy isnt the only one that sounds like a gasser V8 diesels all have a wrap to them when straight piped

 

who do the V8 diesel all rap like that.......

 

inlines sound like inlines, v8's sounds like v8's

ever hear a turbocharged inline gasser? they sound similar, but not the same

 

I like the sound of a good muffler on a dmax sounds pretty darn nasty... myself have never heard a powerstroke that I like.. but I am biased

 

good point 2500. A Toyota supra with a big charger does sound like a mini cummins just not as loud.

I dont know why the V8s wrap like they do, they just simply do.
