yeah they are in the zip box showing that they are adobe files. but when I click open it opens Adobe and shows a error message

Adobe reader couldnot open '2176_01.pdf because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasnt correctly decoded)

That's what mine said when I tried to open it before I unzipped it. Before I unzipped it I had an adobe list, too, but they gave that error message. Try unzipping them again, be sure you know where it's saving them to and check that folder. It won't replace the ones that are there unzipped, it will convert them into readable text, in a location you browse and choose or specify.
