On my 98 Ram, for the Fuel Plate housing is the tamper proof Bolt. I tried mushrooming the head to take out with a screwdriver, but that didn't work. If I chisel the head off, what would I do as far as replacing the bolt to keep the housing secure? Please help!

 

you could get a really small left hand bit drill and easy out the bolt.

 

Is it possible to lock onto the bolt with some pliers or vice grips and try and take the bolt out? A screw driver isn't gonna work.

 

Does breaking the head off the tamper proof bolt matter? And not having it on ? I'd really like to open up the fuel plate. Please help! Thanks!!
