Default Cummins owners i need some input please

Well im dead set on an 03-07 Cummins 2500 4x4. I would like some input though on what i should look for when buying one. Im diesel mechanic so i know the general things to look for but im more familiar with big liter Cats and Detroit's. I doubt i will get one with a automatic transmission because well shifting is a hell of alot funner. Input would be greatly appreciated and when i found the right one ill be sure to post the hell out of it.

I just picked up an 06 2500 the other week. Mine has high miles and I have had to fix a few things like ac and also the fca. Motor is still great just make sure its not beat!

Yeah i figured injectors were a given. But im looking for one with 150k or less miles and throwing pressure gauges on it for the fuel system would happen probably the night or weekend after i buy it. Im pretty good at smelling diesel in the oil if they are leaking or stuck wide open. I just hope one doesn't go out right when i get because i have tendency to go way over board and build it to run like a striped a** ape. I just hope i can find a 04 with the H/O from what i have heard they have a little better tune than the other engines and a few less sensors. Thank you for your input though fellas and correct me if im wrong im rather new to these smaller liter diesels.
