Then if you're having to deal with using a t-case, it would probably be easier to
use the Ford drivetrain behind the Cummins.

Yea we know its gonna be easier but we fiqured its cheaper and better in the long run to use the NV4500, plus the fords tranny need synchros and all that goodie good crap we dont want to do, we already have a cummins mounted to 5 speed we had to give the t-case to my buddies brother since he paid the 500 bucks for the truck, Im just helpin build I aint coughin any dough, just fiqure get some experince for when I build my own.... But all we really need is to find a t case, redo the drive lines, u joints, brakes, 4x4, and clutch....

Agreed. As far as customization, you'll probably just have to get driveshafts built that adapt from the Dodge tranny and t-case to the Ford axles. And if you're good at that stuff, you could probably build your own, at least thats what we did on mine.

We started tearin apart the ford today, and found out how screwed my buddy got, no oil in the t case, or transmisson so thats why the syncros were out. But doesnt matter were puttin in a Cummins. But here a pic of us tearin at the ford. all we have left is to pull the intercooler, radiator and the stroker. Havin a good ole time doin this. We already have the engine and tranny pulled outta the Dodge but my Buddie drop the engine and bent the intake of the turbo housing so if anyone know of someone with a turbo or inlet housing let us know. Glad I wasnt there to pull the cummins out or maybe I should have been ... Any how thats my update. Were puttin in new gaskets for the Cummins. From rear main to front cover.

Hit up Ebay, Craigslist, and the classified on this forum. You could even buy a shot turbo if all you need is the housing.
