Nice looking truck, if it were closer I would buy it tomorow. The black wrap you are talking about on the cooler tubes is because the late 04 and up trucks came with a plastic cooler tube on the drivers side and they were black, the o0 and early 04 have metal tubes= better. Also the early 04 trucks have less problems with the EGR coolers, the round ones are better, the later square ones suck. A couple simple updates for around 1K you would have a truck that will last a nice long time, new oil cooler,coolant filter, egr delete,and another beast mod would be an aftermarket exhaust from turbo back eliminating the Cat but that would take you closer to 1.5K

I havnt said it on every 6.0L thread yet. , Im just wanna see what kinda deal he gets.
I will say that a nice lookin ford!!! just listen to 03 here he seems to have these 6.0L Fiqured out.

I like cummins too just Im a 5 speed freak and any options for a trans for me can get pricey, plates, clutch pricey.....I went to the stealership and put a offer on a 06 King ranch with 83k, spotless carfax, Black 6.0 4x4, siiiiicck, they just called me and said they could finance me 25,700 for it for me, but nothing over 80,000 miles, so im looking to finance elsewhere I got 5k to put down tooo, They wanted to sell me a 1500 shortbed ex cab leftover junk. I almost strangled this dude And they dont wanna give me nothing for my f-350, Tryin to work the phones and make somethin happen, After sitting in the King Ranch Driving it I would selll one of my nuts or a child to get into one,,,,My buddie has a brandy new 11 cummins crew and the interior is a joke compared to the Ranch

Heres a Question For 03.. Should I not buy a 03-05 6.0 or am i asking for trouble? Imagine if they only made the late 90s dodge cummins in a crew cab they dropped the ball on that one

mines an 03 with 179,xxx miles, Driven HARD all its life. ive done 1 injector, an ipr, and a FICM. so, by doing preventitive maintenance they ARE reliable.
