Default Need help with bumper issue

Well I recently bought my 95 powerstroke and the guy i bought it from thought he had a great idea and decided to put a winch plate on the truck. to do this he took off the front bumper, welded 2 peices of c-channel long ways to the frame (to make the bumper stick out), welded the winch plate to the c-channel, cut up the mouting brackets for the bumper, and welded them back together his own way and to the c-channel to make the stock bumper bolt back on the truck. the bumper was sticking out a foot or better past where it should of and it looked stupid. luckily hes not the best welder and the c-channel came right off with minimal cutting of the "welds". i want to put the stock bumper back on it but i dont know what the brackets are supposed to look like. ive looked on lmc and what they show doesnt look like it would work... they show some flat pieces of metal with X's stamped in them and i dont under stand how its supposed to work. can some one please post some pics the mounting brackets for the front bumper and how they mount to the frame and bumper? thanks.

I saw a 96 powerstroke today at a dealership in town. I'm gonna stop by and look at the bumper today when I get off work. I couldn't see the bumper so I'm not sure if it's stock or not. If I need this pics I'll let you know. Thanks.

Maybe you can scout a local junkyard to see what they have too.

its too bad there is no micro phish for the trucks out there on line. you might have some luck by going to the dealer and seeing if the parts guy can print you out one. then you know for sure what your looking for.
