Default just lookin

hey fellas.... i dont have a powerstroke nor do i know much about them. but ive got a baby on the way and a three year old and i need something a little bigger and more comfy than my quad cab dodge. so ive been looking at a 05 king ranch f350 srw. it is a long way away from where i live... like 20 hours away so i have no way to go and look at it but i have pics and it is super clean and i mean immaculate. loaded to the max. its got 150,000mi and a good price so i guess im here lookin for some of the down falls to the 6.0 besides the egr problems? any input is appreciated.

Headstuds, Oil Cooler, Injectors, Turbo, are just some of the problems granted they're all addressable, but engine for engine, you're better off with the cummins in my opinion, you might want to consider the mega cab, that should have more than enough room

well ive looked at em and i love my cummins and wont be getting rid of it...just turning it into a playtoy only truck. looked at the mega cabs as well but the interiors of the dodge just dont seem to match up to the fords. yea the new ones are nice but i dont like the new rams look one bit!!! i dunno what i want yet at this point but i will keep on the prowl!

Ford interiors are hard to beat for comfort especially when looking at 05+ trucks, and once you get into an 08+, there is no comparison. The crewcabs have more than enough room to seat full adults with comfort.

What are your plans for the truck? Will it stay stock or will it get modded?

it has a 8" lift with nittos and some xd wheels already. i would say maybe a programmer and an intake and exhaust and probably some gauges will be about the extent of it. and def an egr delete or aftermarket.
