looking at 6.0 or 6.4

the 6.0 is a good platform but shes gunna take some work to get her to good running shape (egr delete sct to clear the codes and headstuds) now that can cost a couple dollars.....but ya. i think she is a good platform for a truck. i cant speak for the 6.4 at all so i wont even try. i just know that on the 6.4 ull have to delete the egr and dpf and do studs.

6.4's don't need studs, I know a guy running 56lbs of boost on stock head bolts, I'd go with the 6.4 if i were you, delete the dpf, egr, and get a custom tune, it'll run hard and get good mileage i'd say you'll be around $2000 worth of parts to get it where you want it, where as a 6.0 you're paying at least $2000 for head studs, not to mention the EGR cooler, exhaust, tuner, etc
