Default What's with the factory buy back on the 06

I am looking to buy an 06 f350 Harley D truck with the 6.0. I see a local dealer selling a ton of factory buy backs of these trucks. I am wondering what is the problem with the 06's. I am selling my 03 F250 with the 7.3. I am very reluctant at this point, however I need to go from the 4X2 to a 4x4.

There is no reason for a bunch of them. There are really no issues with the 06 6.0 that have not been known for years with the 03-04 MY...

Then how about the 07. Is that any better or worse? I've got a deal on one of those and am trying to decide. I had an 04 with the 6.0. This truck had two turbos and a reflash that killed the truck. This was before 25,000 miles. The truck was stollen a while back and I don't know if I want to replace it with the ford or Dodge? Does the 07 on the Ford have the DFP deal? Is it problematic?
