Default F250/350 without running boards

I recently took the running boards off my F250 and now you can see the piece of sheet metal that hangs down. I was thinking of maybe putting a 2-3" diamond plate C-channel that would cover up the sheet metal and give the bottom of the truck a cleaner look and it could bolt into the existing running board bolt holes and then if you decide to put nerf bars on you can keep the diamond plate installed behind them. I just dont have any way of making something like this and was wondering what you guys think. Thanks

Its called a pinch weld cover, there are several companys that make them, or you could make your own...

Excellent tip dude. Where did you get your jeep running boards? I am planning to have them as soon as possible.
