Default F350 on a 2 post hoist

I want to put my dads 05 F350 on the hoist to give it a oil change and a look over. I just recently got a 2 post hoist. Where do I put the front arms? I don't know if lifting on the back of the control arms is a good idea the only other place is the body mount.
Does any one know for sure???

I lifted the front by the back of the control arms and the back by the spring shackels. Seemed to be ok

Make sure it's at least a 10000# lift. My Rotary lift lifts mine no problem.

Do you have an owner's/operator's/maintenance manual that comes with the lift?

Does it have extensions for the kick ups?

Front, use the rear of the front radius arms just forward where they mount to the frame, there is a raised up contact on the bottom of the arm. You should not need any of the lift spacers unless your step bars hang real low
Rear, try to get them as far back where the frame straightens out and becomes flat but in front of the rear spring hangers. You will need to use most of the spacers in the back to get the truck level.

Sounds like I did the front right is their any harm by lifting on the spring hangers?
