When I see a diesel F150 at the FORD dealship, than I'll be happy, BUT FORD has problems, Why put this diesel F150 for sale, when FORD is giving away their diesel SUPER-DUTY ???

I went to buy a new super duty this last week. The dealer got it down to $36,000. I am sure the f-150 will be around 32,000 but who knows. Times are hard for all the domestic car makers, with Diesel trucks taking a huge hit. I am sure the market will pick back up and f-250 strokers will be back in the high 40s, making the f-150 diesel look nice and cheap. I know I am going to buy one, 150 suspension parts are cheap!

UPDATE: October 16,2008 - PickupTrucks.com is now reporting that we may in fact not see a F150 diesel model. Or, if we do it may be delayed. Apparently Ford is considering the EcoBoost option as a better alternative.

I bought my F-250, cause I wanted a diesel truck, I don't tow, pull, or race my F-250, The only thing that I do is ride my atv on to the bed of my truck & when i buy a washer or dryer for the rental homes. If the SUPER-DUTY are being given away now, These new F-150 diesel, are going to be sitting in lot a long while. My F-250 sat for 14 months !!!!

That thing would be pretty cool to putt around in but if your going to be off roading, racing or any kind of heavy towing, your going to want a superduty just cause everything is so much smaller and lighter on the 1/2 ton. I've already busted an axle and a few u joints on my rig and I dont go nuts on it all the time, most of my buddies tell me I drive like a grandpa.
