well if you would watch the news if GM or Dodge dont get money now in this month or early next month then there done, Ford is in much better shape in this stand. Im not favoring anyone just stating facts.. also never said i was buying a new truck my dad is, but just say if all 3 of them go under alot of people that do have a new truck/car are going to be in trouble if these companys do go under and something goes wrong.. Not trying to pick a fight here just stating what ive seen on the news

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

but if they turn the bailout down again, the president is going to step in and get it passed how he is going to do that im not sure, but this is what ive seen on a few news channels. I dont think they should be bailed out because they refuse to change there ways but i dont want to see them go either

Then the time spent FIXING the problem.

Unless your going to trade it off before that happens. Then that extra "longevity" does you no good and only costs you money. Last longer...
not to start a fight but I remember having to lift my cab to get my head off of my cummins yea did that twice in 3 months oh well. just figured I would mention that.

but back on track I remember the 1st time my cummins got killed by a ford my roommates truck I had it coming good job on the kill but be careful on the street racing seen to many people get hurt or killed doing it.

on a 95? You pulled the cab to get the head off??? Why? I've seen somebody do an entire in-frame rebuild on a 97 without pulling the cab. Does it make it easier? sure. but t is by no means needed. I think you went through a lot of extra work.

atleast with the 2wds the cab sits to low to be able to easly get the head off. I know when I pulled the motor and and put it back in I did it with the cab on but had to basically pry it out and almost wedge it back in.

I had a good freind get killed in a street race so I try not to do it anymore. Guy turned out in front of him without looking. He hit the guy at over 100mph, car burst into flames and he died right there. You have to be careful screwing around on the streets. THere are just to many people on them anymore.
