So after using many posts on all of the diesel forums to make the maintenance of my 1999 7.3 F350 much easier, I have run into the one issue I dread, replacing wiring. Not that I can't do it, just that all of you people with color vision don't label wires and rely on that silly color coding to suffice.

My UVCH harness on the drivers' side is toast at the gasket plug, which then fried the main harness plug on the outside. I have the kit that has the included pigtail, but I have not had much luck with finding anyone's description of doing the pigtail transplant. Are you guys soldering or crimping? How far back into the main harness are you going?
