I am new to the forum. 3 years ago I got my Fathers F350 7.3. I have had several repairs made to the truck to get it in good running order. I would like to make some modifications to boost power and economy. I know there are several things that can be done to this drive train. The only thing I have done so far is add a tymar intake system. My father did have the exhaust modified to 5". He also had it chipped but removed that after having the transmission go out. I am interested in upgrading the turbo and making the transmission able to withstand the upgrades. An adequate transmission temp gauge suggestion would be welcome as the stock temp gauge is useless. I am not interested in additional fuel boost systems. I would like engine modification suggestions. I would also likes Break system upgrade suggestions to make the front breaks better because they are under designed or poorly designed. I am tired of having them fixed. I would think that there is something out there better than what it came with from the factory. This was my dads baby. He was a diesel mechanic by trade for over 30 years. He sadly passed away before I got the truck. I want to keep this truck in the best possible running order. I also want it to be a contender to my older brothers 06 Duramax.

custom tuned chip, gen2 wicked wheel, synthetic ATF, Wagner sever duty brake pads. thats a start, and remember not to be cheap and get lower quality products or your success rate will be lower
