Advice?
I'm getting ready to get my first truck (of my own) (hopefully) and I'm looking at an 2003 6.0 f350 powerstroke with 99000 miles with a 6 speed and i was wondering if anyone had more insight into it? My father drives diesel trucks for a living (truck driver) so he knows what hes talking about but he's trying to talk me out of it, but i know that the 7.3 will run forever, is it the same for the 6.0? also, what kind of problems should i look for?
*note, it will be my daily driver and i drive about 45 miles a day, and at the moment i won't use it for towing

no there are differnt go to the ford 03-07 form and ask they can fill you in more. i know 6.0s are plauged with blowing injectors and other problems may be more im a 7.3 guy so i dont know much about 6.0s good motor but just a few problems just find out what your geting yourself into when and if you buy a 6.0
It could be a great truck! Just check for blowing coolant, white smoke from the tailpipe ect. And when you get it, do head studs and gaskets, coolant filtration system, EGR delete and all of the necessaries! Good luck!
