Hello,

I'm a new diesel owner. I bought my truck less than 1 week ago and I'm already having problems with it. So I have a 99 F-250 7.3 powerstroke and this morning when I went out to go to work the truck wouldn't start. So this evening I checked all the fuses and when I found one that was blown I was hopefully that would fix it but after replacing the bad fuse the truck still won't start. I took the battery cables off both batteries and cleaned the terminals and cable ends. I located the started solenoid and smacked it a few times with a hammer and it still won't start. When I try to start it, I wait for the WTS light to go off then turn the key, when I turn the key nothing happens, no clicking like the battery is low or anything. The motor doesn't turn over. I would check the voltage of the batteries and wires if I had a meter. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

check the 94 to 98 threads with same condition that should give you some ideas. they got some with same problems . mine is one of them but the stuff in there should definetly give you some direction. hope it helps. signed always stuck in diagnostics.
