Engine dies as if ignition switced off. Idling or driving down Interstate. Time from initial "cold" start-up varies, but all shutdowns occur at operating temp. It will not try to restart until cool again(spins fast no start)-then restarts as if there was never anything wrong to begin with.
Changed CPS-no change. Changed ICP sensor- no change. Oil level/quality-Full and 1 month old. All gauges in cab look fine-No low oil pressure, no hi temp. etc.Plenty of fuel, new fuel filter. Local Ford "diesel" mechanic does not think IPR is problem. No codes present. Can IPR cause this problem?

 

id say scan and check icp dc and %, unless you have a chip id try that first, remove it see if still happens, fill out your signature so we know what you have for mods...its under user cp towards top of page then just edit signature
