it's an XLT. should find out later today if i'll be bringin it home. i looked at a few fords, dodges, n even chevy's, but i found that the ford had the biggest cab. ( short of goin to a dodge with a megacab, but hell i cant afford that) i know im going to take alot of crap from my friends about buyin a ford... but when it all comes down to it, im not really a dodge or a cummins guy, im a diesel guy. i would take a duramax over a dodge 1500, a TDI jetta over any other little car, and a crew cab powerstroke over walkin to work but thanks for not bein hostile toward the outsider n thanks for the help

A lift won't hurt it. But hey that's what I said to all my trucks. Lol.

nice truck,you should get many more miles out of it. wish mine was 4x4. I got a f250 2001 2wheel drive xlt cclb for $3,000.00 two months ago with 240,000 miles , runs like a top and clean except for a ding or two. the scratch on the bumper is where I bumped into the cop that saved my life after my heart atache 2 months ago. I died for 10 minutes, no damage to his car or ticket,

 

I think if you even LOOK at a Ford you deserve all the misery life can throw at you!

I bought a 2007 F25 last new years for $11,300, to re-sell and when I told peoole it had a 6.0 in it I couldn't even get $7200 for it on ebay!!!

Dodges might have their faults, like bad dashes and seats, but that's easily fixable.

Buy a Ford and you're headed for misery!! If that's not bad enough try to sell the p.o.s.!!!

If you buy a Fird you deserve all the misery life can throw at you! Buy a Dodge and you'll be a LOT better off and will have a truck thgat's worth something when you get ready to sell it.

Don't believe me? Go on ebay and fond me a 1994 diesel ford 4x4 that sold for $14,000! I've seen many Dodges for for that much.

I just got out of a rental truck cause some old fart trashed my driver's door 2 weeks ago. The rental was a 2012 F150. Go look inside one of the new Fords and tell me where you'd put ANYTHING in that stupid excuse for a "console", and then look for a place to put a 1 liter Pepsi bottle!! Oh.....and how about this piece of genius: When ya' unfasten your seatbelt the radio shuts off!!! REALLY!!!!

Then remember that the F250 has the SAME setup in it!!!

rodbuilder, i think your post was completely unnecessary. i don'y go to the dodge section and start bashing dodge. every make has their own weak points. i personally believe that you can have two identicle pickups come off the line at the same time and one will be a great vehicle and the next will have problems, IT HAPPENS. we are all entitled to our own preferences to what manufacture, but lets not turn this into a pissing match. ok? if you want to act like a 16 year old driving daddies dodge, and think your cool because you can black out a intersection, then do it, but not over here.
