Default mbrp cool duels installation ISSUES !!!!!

hey guys i attempted to install my mbrp cool duels turbo back exhaust on my 2003 7.3L and everything went smooth ( the down pipe was HELL lmao) when i got to the muffler were the two tail pipes come together, the two tail pipes dont slide on to the muffler deep enough to clamp on i have tried different ways to fixing it but it just doesnt fit well, i have look to make sure i have everything installed and that they are the right parts but it still doesnt work i would love any feed back or pointers thanks

Its been YEARS (5 or more) since I installed my duals, I had issue with the dual outlet of the muffler as well. I clamped it and it held for a while, then I ended up welding it.

The duals on my 99 went together smoothly. I put duals on my 95 last weekend, had the same issues. I sprayed the ends and Y inlets down with penetrating oil and they slid together without an issue.
