clutch is getting heavy
I have an 01 f250. Put a upgraded valair clutch in it almost a year ago. Stock clutch was already heavy and I don't recall this seeming any heavier after install but lately it feels to be getting heavier. Wife can barely push it in and it's wearing my knee out. My understanding is that the hydraulics either work or don't. Can they weaken causing a heavier pedal or does any know of an upgrade? Thank you for any insight.
If not I am going to attempt to make a longer pedal since it doesn't have to pressed to the floor like the stocker did.

i got my hydraulic kit from ford. it is a complete, pre bled kit an i paid about 240 i believe. if you go that route, where the line comes off the master to feed tha slave, there is a small roll pin that hold that line in place. superglue that pin or wrap some tape around it so that pin doesn't fall out. i say this because it happened to me.

i have the new style. No garage to work in so I may just wait till it warms up and drop tranny and clean and grease everything. I didnt get crazy with grease before because I was afraid it would get on the clutch disk. Put a new throw out bearing in but it is noisy. Possibly causing friction?
