Im thinking of installing a aux tank in the bed, since i have a toolbox already, just one of the L shaped boxes and hooking a line directly to the tank in my truck. Anyone heard of any problems doing this with suction from the original tank? How did you go about adding another line to the tank? I want to keep my stock filler neck and add directly to the tank from another aux tank that will be in the bed. Just seal it with silicone? Is it as simple as drop the original tank, drill a hole, clean out the tank, and add a tube that will run from the aux tank to the existing tank? Thanks for the help fellas.

Remove filler neck.

Drill and weld in 1/4" NPT bung.

Install 1/4" NPT to barbed fitting in filler neck.

Install ball valve in tank drain hole.

Install barbed fitting in ball valve.

Install 1/4" fuel rated hose from there to filler neck.

Never remove fuel cap again...

Gravity feed at its finest.

We put an in bed tank in the old dodge and got the gravity kit from Tractor Supply. It hooks into the filler hose like CSI described and works great.

I am getting the titan tank for mine, 67 gallons and if I can harpoon it that should take me to almost 80 gallons, then I also run a 105 gallon L tank in the bed, but I am in the process of welding a custom 150 gallon L tank for my truck. It will be plumbed into the truck tank with a switching valve like the old dual tank style including a return line and wired for a fuel guage.
