How cold is it where you live? sounds like from sitting 2 years fuel lines, injection pump and injectors could be clogged up with old fuel ???? Just my 2 cents

I dont know about that without being there and looking at it. Have you checked out powerstroke.org Lots of great info and mechanics in there. They can really help you with this. In their forum look for 7.3 motor problems....

If the wait to start light isn't coming on, unplug your fuel bowl heater, check all your fuses. Replace the blown fuse that isn't allowing your truck to start, I believe it's number 30...

Also, make sure your oil is good and full.

Lastly, to clear up a post above, Powerstroke's do NOT have injection pumps so don't go searching for one..

And I'm moving this to the 7.3 section for ya since you are not a potential diesel owner anymore..

Have you checked the oil? 7.3's use the motor oil to fire the injectors, if your low or out it will not fire.

From what your explaning you have a High Pressure Oil issue.

Did you try testing batteries and testing starter? Also check your gpr and glow plugs just for sure.

If its cranking then its not the batterys or starter...

If it fires off starter fluid then its not the glow plugs...

No smoke means no oil... HPO issue.
