That is the scanner, u dowload it on ur laptop and it scans everything you need it to. Basically a hydraulic guage and bout 2 feet of hose and the adapter to check th hpop. Or just buy the scanner he was talkin bout and check everything at once.

If you try and build a manual HPO gauge it will need to be rated for 4k...

ok i did that and its good now but still no start but my dad had a cheap scanner from advance auto but it didnt show any codes and warning light isnt on either any other ideas? also on the high pressure oil pump u say that has to be full but there is no level indicator but when i looked into the hole its about a half inch from the bottom of the hole do i need to fill it up to the top? or does there need to be a air gap?

The cheep scanners will not read the codes on a powerstroke. I got my autoenginuity from someone on ebay used and it works great. If you know someone with an old scuba high pressure gauge it works great for testing the high pressure oil. All you need is the standard high pressure gauge and an adapter to go from the 7/16 threads to 1/2 inch o-ring threads that you can get from a dive shop. Most scuba high pressure gauges are 5000 psi. If you do use a scuba gauge DO NOT EVER USE IT FOR DIVING AGAIN because there will always be oil left in it which will cause lung problems if it is used for diving. The oil being 1 inch from the top is fine so that is not the problem.
