the lope is just for show, it sounds cool, and smokes, thats all, i had it on mine and it was a good intimidation factor on a lot of people, and you could still get the TS style chip and go with an Edge Insight for your gauges if you wanted to go that way, as far as picking a tuner i loved PHP (Power Hungry Performance) had good mpg, throttle felt good not too touchy, and the transmission tuning was the selling point for me, awesome shifts and shift points, and torque converter locked up early which i really like, hope all that helped

I am on my second t.s style chipped 7.3 and im 19 and havent "killed'' a truck yet

was the lope strong or was it shallow

its a pretty strong lope, sounds like it has a decent sized cam in it, pretty cool they can get it to do that all in just the tuning, after idle it runs just fine, has excess smoke but runs fine, nothing i'd run daily though, just a great novelty tune
