Default To Anyone thinking about doing an 05-07 headlight swap...

Do It! It really wasn't as hard as I thought it was. I bought the headlights for 140 dollars or so and they look legit. It was probably the most efficient way I have seen in both dollars and time to really make your truck look better. Only thing, you should buy and put the headlights in before getting a cut grille. (if that's the route you'd rather take instead of buying 6.0 bumper and grille) Why? With the all chrome bumber and the new shiny headlights (really made a difference over my stock XL headlights) there is almost TOO much chrome going on up front. Id even suggest seeing if you could find someone to swap your grille with if your's is the one with the chrome ring around it. But this was just a great mod. Should be pictures on the way (soon as daylight breaks). Any questions feel free to ask.

i've helped do them. i found a kit on ebay for the harley lights and a addapter plug for around 140$ i think i'm going to get them. then just gotta find time to get them on! i'd do just the lights and no grill. i have the chrome grill and the fancy grill inserts.

I'm not a big fan of harley lights, but I say get em! And it doesn't take that much time. With the right tools and a few trucks (taking off the bumper helped me out a ton) I'd say you are in the hour to three hour range (depending on if your friends want to help you work or just hang out and work!). Hardest part is cutting the header panel. But it sure looks alot better than the stock e99 xl work truck headlights!

Yes, I noticed you had a nice looking rig in your signature. And hey, to each his own. I'm sure it will still look great, just not my style. I do need to warn you, you are gonna want to pick up some super glue (get the gel kind) or some plastic cement incase you snap clips on your wiring. The turn signal ones on my truck seemed extra brittle (snapped right off). The gell super glue worked great for keeping those on.

nice looking pickup! is it a 2 legged horse? and nice bed. Bradford Built? oh the lights look good too. now just get your wheels powder coated. charcoal grey would look pretty good.
