Thank you for the compliments! Yeah its a 2wd. So far I have a little over three grand, so not too bad. Im looking at getting some OEM aluminums for it.

oppps sorry meant to say i have a little over 3 grand in it (bed was 1800 truck was 1500). And I am saving up for a mbrp 4 or 5 inch turbo-back in t-409. this weekend the cat is getting gutted though

just get a 4". 409 is the lesser grade but it's still nice. i have it on my pickup. with no muffler. it took me and my buddy right at a hour to pull the stock exhaust and get the new installed. it's super easy. do you have emissions where you live?

well when you do the exhaust, you don't need the cat at all. did you ever figure out if that has the factory engine or if it's a reman?

It's a Navistar Reman. But it still has all the signs of an early 99, so I am hoping i still have forged rods.

it's hard to say if it's a reman. do a search on this site and find the thread about checking for PMR's. look at the turbo. is the compressor housing a 4 or 5 bolt? do you have a AIH?

Nope no AIH. And it feels lower on power than my dad's 01 so I am assuming its got the stock e99 hpo system and smaller turbo. and alright, I'll give that thread a check.

it probably is. i think there is a plug in the block near the oil cooler. if you pull it you can actually see the rods. it's at the back end of the block. under the oild filter. powdered metal have a bolt and forged have a stud and nut for the cap holding it to the crank.

Allright. Next Oil Change I'll check it out. I don't plan on making "big power" untill the late summer early fall of next year. But having pmr's could change whether I want to push it above the 400 hp mark.

keep in mind you don't have to many points when you get your license. keep it low on the power. trust me. i know how it is. i just got away with a few things... but 400hp really isn't a bad number. if you're going to be pullin alot i'd say that would be plenty.
