Im pretty sure Banks makes one for my 97, im sure they make something for yours if not, more. i would check out xtremediesel.com they have almost anything for your truck. before buying all this turbo stuff i would get the ts first, you should be happy with the power. i ran my 97 with a cold air intake 4 inch exhaust and a ts chip. i have a cali truck with split shot 120cc injectors and it had plenty of power for when i was 17. so i would say test out that chip for now and just see how happy you are with it. then go from there.

to better protect your motor/tranny, get the gauges for sure. if upgrading the turbo you will need to buy head studs. when pushing all this power you will also need to build a tranny.

do you have a down pipe? if not you could get one of those. i beleive you can get a 3 1/2 inch pipe. i know a guy with an 02 with propane injection and it helps alot. gives you alot more power but you also need to be careful with that cuz it can damage your motor. next after this i would look into tranny upgrades turbo uprgrades and injector upgrades. but now your also looking at high dollar products

Remember the 02 has Powdered metal rods(good for 450hp). So keep in mind I wouldnt go past stage 2 injectors for safety concerns. Also can the edge they aren't worth having. I have tyrant tunes on my ts chip and they have been the best yet(bully dog & hypertech can't hang from past expierences). Also gauges are a must with any tune primarily an EGT gauge. As for turbo it is not needed until you decide to go with injectors and big oil.

a tach is your RPMs.as for your turbo only puts out about 25 to 30 psi maximum for boost. i have not heard of anything above 35 for a stock turbo.
