We put in new idm and new injector harness both sides with new gaskets. Truck has codes 1293 &1294. Also high side bank 1 & 2. Come up on scanner. Truck hard start, rough/shakey idle and no power. What the heck is going on?

The idm that was in truck was the guy I bought truck from buddys idm that he uses at his shop to test other peoples trhcks for fualty idm, so no matter what I had to swap out idm.

You could have swapped in a bad IDM. Throw the old one back in and see what happens.

Make sure that harness is completely plugged in and the bolt is tight.

 

We did scanner first had 4 codes, swapped idm and took half codes away

Did you plug in all the injectors? Make sure none of them worked loose.

 

Yes running bad before idm swap. I think it has a bad injector as it sounds like a miss.

Got 3 guys on another fourm that say all 3 of idms are bad, so going to head to slims diesel to try and get confirmation on problem

My buddy slim at Slims repair(diesel shop) got it for me. Trucks needs injector 3 & 8 replaced, doing that next week along with clutch pedal assembly and getting old freon/air outa lines and putting in new freon hopefully get ac going again.

 

Cps was fine, deffenitly needs #3 & #8 injectors which will get replaced this week
