Default Tire/Wheel question

Sorry if this has been asked many times before....

I have the 'stock' tires/wheels, 265/75/R16 on the truck now. I am thinking of two options, first being keep the same wheels and max. the tire size. but am leaning toward new wheels and was thinking of upping them to 17in. If I choose the larger rims, what size tire would be a good fit. I don't have or really want to lift the truck (tow a 5th wheel). and I of course don't want to have any type of clearance or rubbing issues. I don't really ever go off-road, but at the same time want a little 'beefier' look to the truck also.

Thanks for any and all input.
