Might call Ford and tell them your VIN, see if they can print up a info sheet for you with all the info on it.

Okay, thanks man. I sent riffraff a message about the parts so hopefully he can get back with me soon. I'll try to talk to ford about the vin and see if they can help me out. I don't have to know, but it would just be nice. Once I get the CPS in and get a flatbed on it I am gonna let my neighbor use the truck to pull with. He has a 95 f250 he tows with got a 351 and an auto terrible gas mileage towing (7 or 8). I would hope he could get 12 or 13 towing with the 7.3. 8,000 should be nothing for the 7.3. Plus diesel is cheaper than gas right now

That would be at the crank and I don't think the early 99's were rated that high...

I don't think dad's 01 is rated that high and it's a stick. Is Ford like Dodge in the fact they detune their chassis cabs?

Only the 2003 6 speed were rated at 275/525. But as James said that was at the flywheel.

The most you will put out with stock injectors and stock turbo on a E99 is about 280-300...

how about the HPOP? I heard it doesn't flow enough to handle chips and bigger injectors.

You're truck will have a 15* pump. It depends on what injectors you are talking about as to what it can handle... My 15* holds my injectors and chip just fine although I've never actually had it on a scanner to watch pressures...

I am very lucky in the fact that my dad has all the VCM equipment to go over the truck with. I honestly don't know what good performance injectors are. I know that remans are the only ones in my price range and a hi-po HPOP is far out of my price range.

If you're just looking for a solid 300hp, just chip it... Save your money and put it in a savings account or something. You will have plenty of time down the road to mod out vehicles...
