I would check out the wire harness on top of the motor, check the UVC harness where it goes into the valve cover.

Could very well be a bad UVCH (under valve cover harness) or valve cover gaskets...

Is it possible for the california truck to havea glow plug relay instead of a glow plug control modulebecause the one under my hood I'm 95% sure its a gpr not a gpcm or could it have both?

Its round about inch an a half tall with 6 wires connected to it and a couple nuts holding it on sits to the left rear of the fuel filter cap

You are looking at the Intake Air Heater Relay... Just behind it is the GPCM...

I dont have a picture of it right now, but its is a box about 2"x3" and mounts next to the passanger valve cover right behind the relay your looking at. It has a Black plug and a Green plug.

There's only one black connector behind that I've seen pictures of both parts this one looks like the grp

There are two relays there, you should have one, and a GPCM...




Dont mind the arrow, it was for something else.

I see the two relays I only do have onre but its the one where yourred arrow starts but I still don't see the gpcm on mine sorry to look like an idiot but in all new to diesels and how they work
