I had a friend hit the brakes HARD to avoid hitting a kid playing in the highway in 2005, his truck had a body lift('98 Chevy 1500), and his cab came forward 6 inches trashing his engine and cab, but saving the kid. Seeing the aftermath of that I personally would never get one. As for the shops, they would simply say "diesel trucks and body lifts don't mix".

 

my friend installed a 3'' body lift in his 200 ford 7.3 and it has over heating problems mabye look into that
