My buddy just bought a 2001 7.3 6 spd with a T.S chip intake clutch and guages and on his HPOP it has what looks to me like a 1.5" around and 2" long silver solenied or something with a single black wire on it in place of the plug on the drivers side of the hoop as you are facing the engine. What might this be? I have never seen this before

Where does the wire go? Sounds like a sender for a gauge...

 

Idk were it goes I haven't looked that hard but he doesnt have a hpop guage or whatever it is

Thats a autometer oil pressure sender. What gauges does he have?

 

Im pretty sure they are isspro.

 

I never ran a Isspro EV1 oil pressure gauge so I am not sure what there gauge sender would have looked like, but if its in that location that is a low pressure location.
