Default Turbo upgrades

My stock turbo went out an im not in a position to buy the turbo i want. Was wondering would it be worth it to buy rebuild kit an put ats ported shroud on along with wicked wheel. I have the banks exhaust housing already an am gonna delete ebpv. How much diff will all this make over stock ?

One or the other, if you already have a 1.00 housing on there, you should have very little surge issues.

The Wicked Wheel moves less air then the factory turbo, it is not a performance upgrade...

The ATS housing moves no more air then the factory housing, it is ported which stops surge...

I would stick with what you have, 1.00 housing and the factory compressor side.

Get a replacement factory wheel and if the compressor housing can not be repaired then get an ATS housing, but there is no performance gain with an ATS housing.

Post up in the vendor section, they should be able to get you what you need. I know DieselSite offers a bunch of parts, as does Sinister

I am not a hugh fan of ATS but I have a customer that just put an Aurora 3000 kit on his 99 7.3 and boy will that truck fly.

well the right way is to get the non EBPV pedistol. the sell a non EBPV outlet as well. or you can just pull the butterfly valve out.
