my truck with a 6.9 in it reg cab long bed hit 8500 on the scales. i'm waiting to see what the number is with the powerstroke. i say every 3 to months for oil even if you only get to 2k miles. oil deteriorates and blah blah blah i just like to run my engine as clean as possible and do it according to the service manual. if you cant hear your wheel bearings dont worry about them. the brake issue it is probably the caliper pin as mentioned before. Keep your tires up to pressure, do all regular service on your truck, clean ebp tube. check for boost leaks. make sure all grease points are greased. and maybe put on an economy tune too. there are other upgrades you can do of course like the mpg max water injection and such but then your spending more money. First get your truck the best it can be then see how it does. the more you take care of your truck the better it will treat you

It used to get good I think its my short trips. Gonna check for leaks anyway. What is there to grease on my truck? Im not much of a mechanic especially when it comes to suspension and what not, thats what my brother is for . I use my 80 hp dd php tune for economy.

never been under your year. just clean the whole underside of the truck and look everywhere for grease fittings. like u joints suspension parts. i only really know where they all are on dump trucks and since my 350's been down for a while i dont remember where they all were on that.
