Default manual tranny

im looking to buy a 7.3 would it be better to have the manual tranny or the automatic.i drive mainly freeway and town.i tow every now and then and go mudding once in a while.wat would be the best for all that.im shooting towards the manual

kind of a personal preference thing man. i'd rather have manual. if your muddin manual is better. i like the control overall of manual

Stock for stock, manual is the better option..

Start building power and you can't beat a built auto..

i just dont see the control in auto. i like controlling my truck instead of my truck controlling me

I like not losing boost when it shifts...

Like you said, personal preference.

yep i prefer manual in any vehicle i own. just me i guess. so ask yourself which one will you be more happy with

there is nothing like grabing gears

the only downfall to me is loosing boost between shifts so with my programer on i blow more smoke in the lower rpms untill i build boost again.

Dont get me wrong i love black smoke just dont like filling the intersection at low rpms.

I live around Philly and I tend to tick people off as it takes awhile to get up to speed cramming gears. I usually go from 1st to 3rd to 5th as clutching this thing gets tiring.

All depends on your preference and I think mine is starting to shift towards an auto.

its totally personal preference, i like the manual because you tell your truck what gear its in and when its going to be in that gear
