ok so my wife just gave me 8000 dollars to go power hungry with...
any suggestions on what i shoud get HP goal is 5-- and Ft lbs goal is 1000 would appreciate any advice thanks in advance

Well, what mods do you have already? Your going to need a tranny, injectors and a turbo, plus tuning to run it.

$1500 for some 250/200 hybrids
$1500 for a GTP-38R turbo
$4200 for a BTS tranny
$400 for gauges
$450 for tuning...

 

already got a allison to put in it problem wih that is that i needto figure out how to mount it or i can sell it onlyhas like 3k miles on it but the guy was trying to sell it quick so tranny check wat can i spend the saved money on?

 

Sell the Allison, they are nothing special, and without a PCS controler and some kind of adapter it will not work.

 

Sell it. They are the most expencive tranny to build. Buy a BTS or a john woods

Sell the Allison for whatever you bought it for... Then call up BTS, I believe he has a waiting list.. Who quoted you that much for injectors and a turbo? What turbo is it?

My advice to you is to post up in the vendor section. Take that parts list that Joe posted up earlier and see what kind of price quotes you can get...

 

yea i bough the allison for 1200 so im hopefully gonna get more than that for it but i took joe's message and copied & pasted into the price quote and scott from alligator diesel gave me 5100 for just the injectors and turbo...

 

Seems a little high. Depends on the turbo... If you get a 38r, it should only be about 1500 bucks as all you need is the turbo.. If you go after something like a modded H2E, then you need the whole set up so your looking at 2500-3k is my guess..

For injectors, I know Full Force sells hybrids for like 1850 bucks.
