when the truck is cold don't go anywhere, its really hard on them, the oil has to warm up before these trucks will even get out of its own way, and if its really cold where you are try plugging the truck in over night

having an issue with my performance think it may be a sensor issue only running on 6 cylinders when it first starts up then it just seems to catch up with itself after about ten minutes. Has anyone else had this problem before would really appreciate the info

never herd of a truck only running on 6 i think its just warming up it will kinda skip or struggle to get going, i doubt ur truck is running on six its just the truck warming up and trying to pump oil n fuel into the motor. best thing to do if you have it plugged in if you have the heater equipped to your truck. it is located near your left front tow hook feel around for the plug.

and its not a sensor because a light will pop up on your dash. if you don't have a heater for your truck be careful when u start it. if its too cold for it it will split your block that's for all diesels . the pressure will destroy your motor. n i dont know if you can buy a heater for your block. i think it comes in only from the factory when you order it not sure tho
